Army Announces Over 1,250 Strikes, Neutralizing Around 700 Houthis in 24 Hours

The Armed Forces announced the execution of over 1,250 strikes against military sites and capabilities of the Houthi group in the past 24 hours, as part of Operation "Dawn of Yemen." This resulted in neutralizing around 700 members of the group and destroying or disabling more than 150 combat, transport, and supply vehicles.
The official spokesman for the Armed Forces, Staff Colonel Majed Abdullah Al-Nazili, stated that the operations covered various fronts and axes and were carried out using warplanes, drones, artillery, rocket launchers, and sniper units.
He added that the strikes targeted forward defensive positions, fortifications, trenches, sources of fire, and observation and reconnaissance points, as well as advanced command and control sites, troop assembly areas, reserve deployment areas, and transport and supply means.
Al-Nazili mentioned that, according to the initial military assessment, the operations weakened the Houthis' defensive formations and destroyed fortifications and combat points, with a special focus on the Taiz fronts, where he said government forces continue to target the group's positions and curb their offensive movements.
The military spokesman said the operations were conducted against what he described as legitimate military targets, with necessary precautions taken to protect civilians and civilian objects, in accordance with the rules of international humanitarian law, confirming the continuation of operations according to the established military plan.
