Minister Al-Bakri Praises Performance of National Youth Team
The Minister of Youth and Sports, Nayef Saleh Al-Bakri, praised the technical level and outstanding performance displayed by the national youth team players during their journey in the 13th West Asian Football Championship, affirming his great confidence in the team's ability to continue to excel and win the title.
This came during a video call on Monday with the national youth team's delegation at their residence in Aqaba, ahead of the anticipated final match this evening against the Lebanese team in the tournament final.
Al-Bakri affirmed his great confidence in the team's players and their ability to achieve the third title in Yemen's participation history, noting that everyone in Yemen is anticipating this achievement and that the cup celebration will be held in Aden and all Yemeni cities.
He stated that this team carries the hopes and aspirations of the Yemeni people and, through its performance, presents a bright image of Yemeni football. He expressed his happiness with the level shown by the players and the team spirit and fighting spirit they displayed on the field.
The Minister of Youth and Sports expressed his admiration for the team's collective play and the clear harmony among the players, as well as the beautiful goals scored during the tournament.
