Presidential decree on new appointments in Ministry of Transport

A presidential decree was issued on Monday, appointing three officials to leadership positions in the Ministry of Transport and its affiliated bodies and institutions.
Presidential Decree No. (76) of 2026 stipulated the appointment of Engineer Hassan Faraj Mohammed Omar as Chairman of the Board of the Civil Aviation and Meteorology Authority, and Saber Abdo Mohammed Al-Sunaidi as Chairman of the Board and CEO of the Gulf of Aden Ports Corporation.
The decree also stipulated the appointment of Captain Riyad Saeed Omar Bajaman as Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport for Maritime Affairs and Ports.
The decree stipulates that it shall be effective from the date of its issuance and published in the Official Gazette.
