Yemeni Government: Ma'ashiq Attack Will Not Deter Us From Continuing Work in Aden

The Yemeni government has affirmed it will continue its work from the temporary capital, Aden, and its efforts to confront the Houthi group, following the attack on the Ma'ashiq Palace. It called on the international community to take a stance against attacks targeting state institutions and civilians.
The government said in a statement that the attack reflects the Houthi group's inability to confront the will of the Yemenis, stressing that these attacks will not disrupt the performance of state institutions or deter them from continuing their tasks.
The statement noted that the attacks are part of a broader escalation, which the government said includes targeting civilian and vital facilities in Saudi Arabia, in addition to residential areas in Taiz and Lahj.
The government called on the international community and the United Nations to exert the necessary pressure to stop these attacks, affirming the continuation of its work and efforts within the framework of what it described as the "Dawn of Yemen" battle.
Earlier, the Ministry of Information announced that Prime Minister Shayea Al-Zindani and members of the government were safe, following the targeting of the Ma'ashiq Palace in the temporary capital, Aden, with a number of missiles launched by the Houthi group.
The ministry said in a brief statement that, according to available information, the attack resulted in the deaths of two of the prime minister's aides.
