Coalition: 19 Killed, 364 Injured in Houthi Attacks on Saudi Airports

The spokesperson for the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen said Thursday that Houthi attacks on the Kingdom's airports have resulted in the deaths of 19 people and injured 364 others.
Spokesman Major General Turki al-Maliki added in a press conference that the Houthis have launched 1,104 missiles and 1,135 drones towards Saudi Arabia since operations began, accusing the group of obtaining advanced technologies with help from regional parties.
He noted that the Houthis also attempted to launch attacks targeting dozens of airports, oil facilities, and ports in Saudi Arabia.
He said the coalition worked to destroy 127 mountain depots belonging to the Houthi group in several Yemeni regions over the past few days, along with a number of launch platforms, as part of operations he said were aimed at undermining the group's military capabilities.
He pointed out that the Houthis established mountain depots in Sana'a, Saada, and Amran to be used for launching attacks, adding that the coalition carried out what he described as a qualitative operation in response to the targeting of airports and navigation.
The coalition also displayed photos of cruise missiles that it said targeted King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.
Al-Maliki described attempts to target the Two Holy Mosques as a "heinous and brutal act," calling on the Houthis to immediately cease operations targeting civilians and civilian objects, which the Houthis denied.
