On Sunday, army forces carried out intense strikes on Houthi barracks in Ma'rib.
The state-run Saba channel reported in a brief news item that the artillery of the Third Military Region carried out "a series of intense strikes with heavy shells on the positions, barracks, and fortifications of the terrorist Houthi militia south of Ma'rib".
The channel did not provide further details about the results of the strikes.
This comes amid continued military escalation between government forces and the Houthis on several fronts.
