UN: Nearly 300,000 Yemenis Forced to Flee Their Homes in Three Months

High Commissioner for Refugees Barham Salih said that nearly 300,000 people were forced to flee their homes in Yemen in just three months, calling for an end to the fighting, protection for civilians, and ensuring unimpeded humanitarian access.
Salih added, via his account on the X platform, that more than 65,000 refugees and asylum seekers who came to Yemen seeking safety are once again facing insecurity, including families living in camps near the front lines.
The High Commissioner noted that the needs of the displaced and refugees are immense, and Yemenis cannot afford to wait, adding: The fighting must end, civilians must be protected, and unimpeded humanitarian aid must reach those in most need.
