Our National Team to Wear Red Against UAE & Qatar, and White Against Bahrain in 'Gulf Cup 27'
The technical preparatory meeting for the Arab Gulf Cup 'Gulf Cup 27' was held today, Tuesday, in the Saudi city of Jeddah. The tournament kicks off tomorrow, Wednesday, with the participation of eight Gulf teams and will continue until October 6th.
The meeting discussed the technical and organizational aspects of the tournament, primarily the approval of the final team rosters and player eligibility, a review of the approved technical and administrative regulations and controls, in addition to emphasizing adherence to match-specific instructions.
The meeting also reviewed arrangements for match and training venues, official team kit colors, locker rooms, warm-ups, and entry to the pitch, as well as refereeing aspects and Video Assistant Referee (VAR) technology, to ensure the teams' readiness for the start of the competition.
The national team was represented at the meeting by Team Manager Captain Asaad Al-Qumasi, Media Coordinator Mohammed Al-Shoumi, Team Doctor Arif Qaddar, and Team Administrator Omar Basohaib.
The national team will begin its 'Gulf Cup 27' campaign against its Emirati counterpart on Thursday, September 24th, wearing its primary kit in red, white, and black, while the goalkeeper will be in yellow.
The team will face its Qatari counterpart on Sunday, September 27th, in an all-red kit with black, while the goalkeeper will wear green.
The team will conclude its group stage matches against Bahrain on Wednesday, September 30th, wearing an all-white kit, with the goalkeeper in yellow, as part of the Group B fixtures.
