US Dollar and Saudi Riyal Prices vs. Yemeni Rial, Sunday, October 25, 2026
Foreign currency exchange rates against the Yemeni rial stabilized on Sunday, with no significant changes compared to previous days, despite a scarcity in the availability of the US dollar and Saudi riyal.
Banking sources told Al-Mahriah Net that the exchange rate of the Saudi riyal in exchange shops and companies in government-controlled areas reached 410 riyals.
The sources added that the price of the US dollar reached about 1560 Yemeni rials.
In a related context, the Yemeni rial has continued to stabilize in Houthi-controlled areas for years, where the Saudi riyal is exchanged for about 140 riyals, and the US dollar between 535 and 540 riyals, amidst complaints of high prices despite the currency's stability.
This comes amid continuing financial challenges throughout Yemen, which is facing one of the world's worst humanitarian and economic crises.
