Gold Prices Stable in Sana'a and Aden on Sunday, October 25, 2026

Gold prices saw relative stability on Sunday in both Sana'a and Aden, despite slight variations from one shop to another.
The price of a 21-karat gold gram in Aden reached about 175,000 Yemeni rials of the new currency, while in Sana'a it reached 60,000 rials of the old currency.
As for the gold sovereign (8 grams of 21-karat gold), its price exceeded 1,412,000 rials in Aden, while in Sana'a it surpassed 484,000 rials.
These are the prices for buying from citizens, while they are slightly higher when selling to customers, as a profit margin is calculated for each gram of the yellow metal.
The exchange rate of the local currency differs between Houthi-controlled areas and government-controlled areas; the dollar exchange rate in Sana'a is about 535 rials, compared to 1,560 rials in areas under the influence of the internationally recognized government.
It is worth noting that gold prices change from time to time and vary relatively from one shop to another in Yemen's markets, depending on global and local market movements, supply, and demand.
