The US military said on Wednesday that it destroyed an Iranian-linked dhow last week, adding that it was conducting surveillance and targeting operations against US Navy ships in the Gulf of Oman.
US Central Command stated in a post on the X platform that the incident occurred on October 6, adding, "The crew members were safely evacuated before the ship's destruction, and efforts are currently underway to repatriate them."
