Iran Relocates Fuel Tanks Outside Cities After Attacks

Iran's Tasnim news agency quoted the head of the National Crisis Management Organization as saying that fuel tanks are being moved to safe locations outside cities to ensure citizens' safety.
The official explained that these tanks were subjected to what he described as hostile attacks, which caused them to catch fire. He noted that they were originally built outside urban areas, but with the expansion of cities, they are now located within residential areas.
He added that the organization has issued an official technical recommendation to move the tanks to safe locations outside cities to reduce the risks that could threaten the population.
During the American-Israeli war on Iran, oil and fuel storage depots in and around the capital, Tehran, were targeted, plunging a large part of the city into a sudden blackout.
Iranian authorities announced that the attacks targeted oil depots and logistical centers for transporting petroleum products in and around Tehran.
