A medical team at Al-Thawra General Hospital in Taiz governorate successfully performed a rare exploratory surgery this Thursday for a 14-year-old child who had swallowed foreign objects, including wires and plastic bags.
The operation was performed by pediatric surgery consultant Dr. Ahmed Al-Sharmani, under the supervision of anesthesia consultant Dr. Ibrahim Al-Qubati, with the participation of several assistant technical staff members.
Al-Thawra Hospital Authority stated that the operation was successful, and the child's condition is stable and good, while the medical team continues to provide him with the necessary care.
