Seiyun: Protest Demands Rights and Overdue Pay for Healthcare Staff
On Thursday, the Nurses' Committee of Seiyun General Hospital Authority in Hadramaut organized a protest in front of the main gate to express solidarity with the rights of nursing staff and demand solutions for their employment issues and the payment of their overdue financial dues.
The protest participants raised several demands, chief among them the return of all nursing staff members to their jobs, with the cancellation of the effects of resignation decisions, to ensure their employment situations are addressed and their professional stability is secured.
The participants also demanded the immediate payment of all overdue financial dues without delay or procrastination, and the establishment of a fixed and binding schedule for payments to ensure their regularity and prevent recurring delays, in addition to the release of salary payments for September 2026.
The protesters stressed the importance of responding to these demands and addressing them urgently, to do justice to the nursing staff and improve their living and working conditions, in appreciation of their role in providing health services and patient care.
The protesters appealed for the need to find clear and sustainable solutions that guarantee the regular payment of financial dues and enhance the job stability of the nursing staff, which would positively reflect on the continuity of health services provided to citizens.
