Houthi Civil Defense: Casualties in Airstrike on Two Homes in Al-Jawf
The Houthi-affiliated Civil Defense authority said its teams are continuing search and rescue operations, recovering victims, and treating the injured, following an airstrike that targeted two homes in the Al-Hazm district of Al-Jawf province in the country's north.
The authority stated, in a post on its Facebook page, that civil defense teams moved to the site after receiving a report that two homes had been bombed, and began rescue operations to pull those trapped from under the rubble.
According to the authority, the bombing, based on preliminary information, resulted in more than 30 killed and wounded, including a woman and a child, in addition to two other injured children, as well as material damage to the two houses and neighboring properties.
The final toll of casualties and damages is not yet clear, as search, rescue, and rubble removal operations continue at the site.
The authority attributed the bombing to Saudi aircraft, though the statement did not include details or independent information to confirm this.
