Coastal Regions' Broad Meeting Calls for Unity, Army Support, and Liberating Houthi-held Areas
The districts of Al-Waz'iyah, Mawza, Mocha, and Bab al-Mandab witnessed a broad meeting that included sheikhs, dignitaries, notables, and representatives of various social and political forces, in a presence that reflected the societal diversity of the coastal regions' people.
Noah al-Jasiri, the event organizer, stated that the participants stressed the importance of unifying ranks and efforts, supporting state institutions and the Yemeni Armed Forces, and enhancing joint coordination to face challenges and complete the mission of liberating areas under Houthi control.
He added that the participants affirmed the readiness of the coastal regions' people to join mobilization efforts and support the frontlines, responding to the call from Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council. They noted that the meeting marks the start of a new phase of joint national action, beyond regional differences and stances.
According to al-Jasiri, the participants praised Saudi support for the Yemeni government, stressing the importance of continued cooperation to enhance security and stability and to support efforts to restore state institutions.
