Hodeidah Governor Survives Ballistic Missile Assassination Attempt

The 2nd of December Agency, affiliated with Tariq Saleh's forces, reported that Hodeidah Governor, Al-Hassan Taher, survived an assassination attempt by a Houthi ballistic missile that targeted his residence in the city of Al-Khokha.
On Sunday, the Houthi group announced it had carried out a military operation that it said targeted Saudi troop concentrations and weapons depots in the Mocha district of Taiz governorate, southwestern Yemen.
The group's military spokesman, Yahya Saree, said in a statement that the operation was a response to what he described as the "Saudi enemy's" continued buildup and reinforcement of its forces with weapons and equipment on the West Coast and in Taiz governorate.
He added that the operation led to "widespread destruction" of equipment and weapons, as well as dozens killed and injured, including Saudis.
The "National Resistance" forces had announced shooting down 11 Houthi drones that participated in the shelling of Mocha Port and several other locations since noon on Sunday.
They added that "the military sites are implementing the deployment plan at the highest level, which helped reduce losses."
