Hadhramaut: Al-Khanbashi Attends Graduation of VIP Protection and Thunderbolt Courses at Police College

Member of the Presidential Leadership Council and Governor of Hadhramaut, Salem Al-Khanbashi, attended the graduation ceremony for the first VIP Protection course and the second Thunderbolt division at the Hadhramaut Police College in Mukalla on Sunday, coinciding with our country's celebrations of the two glorious national holidays, the September 26th and October 14th revolutions.

In his speech during the ceremony, the member of the Presidential Leadership Council conveyed the congratulations of the Council's President, Rashad Al-Alimi, and its members on the occasion of the 64th anniversary of the September 26th Revolution, which ended the imamate rule and established the principles of the republic, equal citizenship, and the rule of law.

Al-Khanbashi noted the battles being fought by the armed and security forces in their various formations to defend the homeland and its institutions. He saluted the fighters from Hadhramaut participating alongside their brothers from various governorates in the battles to defend the nation, stressing that their sacrifices will always be appreciated and cherished, and that the blood of the martyrs will remain a testament to the contribution of the governorate's sons in the battle to restore state institutions and establish security and stability.

Al-Khanbashi emphasized the importance of continuing to build military and security capabilities and equipping members of the armed and security forces with modern knowledge and skills. This enhances their physical and field readiness, raises the level of discipline and efficiency, and improves their ability to carry out security and military tasks competently and proficiently. He praised the efforts made by the leadership of the Police College in qualifying security and military cadres.

For his part, the Director of the Hadhramaut Police College, Saleh Al-Tamimi, affirmed that the graduation of these batches is an extension of the college's efforts in education, training, and qualification, preparing qualified security and military cadres according to modern methods and programs, which contributes to enhancing security and stability and reducing crime in all its forms.

The graduation ceremony, which saw 171 trainees graduate from the fourth level of the general section – Thunderbolt, and 156 trainees from the third level – VIP Protection, included a military parade by several units, as well as demonstrations of skills and field applications that the trainees received during their training period. The member of the Presidential Leadership Council and Governor of Hadhramaut was honored in appreciation of his interest in and support for the Police College's leadership and its training and qualification programs.
