Lahj Issues Urgent Appeal to Address Growing Number of Displaced People in Al-Sabiha
The local authority leadership in Lahj governorate has issued an urgent distress call to international and regional organizations and humanitarian bodies, urging them to intervene and address the increasing numbers of displaced people and families affected by armed confrontations in the Al-Sabiha areas.
In the appeal, issued in coordination with the Emergency Committee and the offices of Planning and International Cooperation, Social Affairs and Labor, and Public Health and Population, the local authority called on humanitarian organizations, relief funds, and businesspeople to provide urgent aid to meet the growing needs of families affected by the war.
