Reuters reported that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi expressed Tehran's readiness to assist in facilitating dialogue between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Houthi group, coinciding with an increase in attacks on Saudi territory.
The Iranian stance came after a call on Sunday between the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia and Iran, during which they discussed regional escalation and efforts to reduce tensions, according to the official Saudi Press Agency.
This comes amid an escalating confrontation between Saudi Arabia and the Houthi group, with continued attacks targeting Saudi territory and mutual military escalation following Saudi operations in Yemen.
