Government Forces Announce Strikes in Sana'a, Saada; Confirm Operations in Taiz
Yemeni government forces announced on Thursday evening that they targeted what they described as «high-value» targets in the capital Sana'a and Saada governorate, northern Yemen, confirming the continuation of their operations in Taiz governorate.
The official spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Colonel Majid Al-Nazili, said in a statement published by the Armed Forces Media Center that the forces «targeted high-value targets in the capital, Sana'a».
Al-Nazili added that the forces also targeted «11 high-value targets in Saada», without specifying the nature of the targets or the extent of the damage caused by the strikes.
He stressed that the strikes «affirm the unity of ranks and fronts», emphasizing that the government forces «will not abandon Taiz».
He continued, «Taiz has broken the Houthis, and our heroes will break the Houthis everywhere».
Earlier, residents reported hearing air strikes targeting the Al-Nahdain camp, which overlooks the Presidential Palace in the Al-Sabeen area, south of Sana'a.
So far, there has been no comment from the Houthi group regarding the raids or the resulting losses.
