Government Forces Announce Thwarting a Major Houthi Attack on the Kahboub Front
The Southern Giants Brigades, loyal to the Yemeni government, announced on Monday that they had broken a large-scale attack launched by the Houthi group in successive human waves on the Kahboub front. This came after hours-long battles in which various types of weapons were used, according to the brigades' media center.
The center stated that the forces inflicted losses in life and equipment on the attackers, noting hundreds of killed and wounded among their ranks, and the destruction of military equipment, before forcing them to retreat.
It added that the confrontations were carried out with the support of the Arab Coalition, without providing further details on the extent of the losses or the nature of the destroyed equipment.
