Government forces announce 27 raids on Houthi sites in Taiz
The Yemeni Armed Forces announced the execution of 27 air raids targeting sites and gatherings of the Houthi group on several fronts in Taiz governorate.
Official spokesman Majed Al-Nazili said in a statement published by the Armed Forces' Media Center that the raids targeted a missile warehouse, command and control centers, supply and armament points, in addition to Houthi gatherings, vehicles, and military machinery.
He explained that the strikes hit targets on Al-Sitteen Street north of Taiz city, Bani Omar, the Himyar front in Maqbanah district, east of Al-Wazi'iyah, Al-Ahkoum and Al-Athawir in Hayfan district, as well as Al-Kadahah, Jabal Nu'man, Al-Kurayfat, Aqabat Munif, Al-Tashrifat, Al-Aqroudh, Same'a, and Al-Shaqb in Sabir Al-Mawadim district.
The statement added that, according to the Armed Forces, the raids resulted in the destruction of dozens of vehicles and military capabilities, and the death and injury of a number of Houthi elements.
The spokesman affirmed that the Armed Forces are continuing their operations against Houthi sites and capabilities on various fronts in Taiz.
