Saba Region University Staff Condemn Attack on Academics, Demand Investigation
Staff of Saba Region University and students from the Faculty of Medicine organized a solidarity vigil to condemn the attack on Dr. Yousef Abdulwahab Al-Sufyani and Dr. Hassan Al-Mansoub as they returned from Hadramout province, which resulted in Al-Sufyani's death and Al-Mansoub's injury.
The participants called on the competent authorities to uncover the circumstances of the incident, pursue the perpetrators and bring them to justice, and enhance road security to protect academics, citizens, and travelers.
The university's members renewed their solidarity with Dr. Hassan Al-Mansoub, offered condolences to the family of the deceased Dr. Yousef Al-Sufyani, and affirmed their rejection of attacks on academic and scientific personnel.
