Presidential decree appoints Rashad Al-Yousifi as head of the Taiz front

On Monday, a decree was issued by the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, Rashad Al-Alimi, appointing Staff Brigadier General Rashad Ahmed Ismail Al-Yousifi as a member of the Supreme Military Committee and head of the Taiz front, promoting him to the rank of Major General.
The second article of the decree stipulated that it takes effect from the date of its issuance and publication in the official gazette and military bulletins.
Al-Yousifi previously held the position of commander of the first sector in the 141st Infantry Brigade in 2016, in addition to Chief of Staff of the 141st Infantry Brigade in 2019, and assistant commander of the Seventh Military Region during 2024 and 2025.
