Youth National Team Conducts Training at its External Camp in Egypt
Our national youth team continues its daily training at its external camp in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, with morning and evening sessions under the leadership of national coach Anwar Ashour and his assistant, Captain Walid Al-Nuzaili. This is in preparation for the West Asian U-17 Championship, which will be held in the city of Aqaba in southern Jordan from September 26 to October 5, 2026.
The youth national team will compete in Group A alongside the teams of (Syria, Lebanon, Palestine).
The technical staff aims to achieve technical and physical readiness before heading to Jordan.
The General Secretariat of the Federation hopes to secure one or two friendly matches for the team during the Cairo camp to assess the players' readiness and test technical and tactical aspects before participating in the tournament.
