National Team Defeats Kuwait in Friendly for Gulf Cup 27

The national team secured a 2-1 victory over its Kuwaiti counterpart in an international friendly match held this evening in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, as part of their preparations for the upcoming Arabian Gulf Cup "Khaleeji 27".
The national team's goals were scored by Ahmed Maher and Omar Al-Dahi, while the Kuwaiti team's goal was an own goal by Mamdouh bin Ajaj.
The Khaleeji 27 tournament will be held in Jeddah from September 23 to October 6, 2026.
The match was not televised, at the request of the technical staff of both the Yemeni and Kuwaiti teams.
