Qatar Affirms Support for Political Settlement Efforts in Yemen

The Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, stated that his country supports the UN efforts aimed at reaching a comprehensive political settlement in Yemen.
This came during the Qatari Emir's speech at the high-level general debate of the eighty-first session of the United Nations General Assembly, which began on Tuesday.
Sheikh Tamim Al Thani affirmed his country's support for political settlement efforts in Yemen based on the outcomes of the UN-sponsored National Dialogue, which preserves its unity and sovereignty and achieves security and stability.
