Presidential Decree Reshuffles Shayea Al-Zandani's Government, Appoints Three New Ministers
A presidential decree was issued on Monday for a cabinet reshuffle in Prime Minister Shayea Al-Zandani's government, including the appointment of three new ministers for the portfolios of Information, Civil Service and Insurance, and Local Administration.
Presidential Decree No. (74) of 2026 amended Presidential Decree No. (3) of 2026 regarding the formation of the government and the naming of its members, appointing the following:
- Salem Abubakr Mohammed Thabet Al-Awlaqi as Minister of Information.
- Judge Akram Nasib Ahmed Al-Amri as Minister of Civil Service and Insurance.
- Ahmed Saleh Ahmed Al-Awlaqi as Minister of Local Administration.
The decree stipulated that it shall be effective from the date of its issuance and published in the Official Gazette.
