Omani Qasim Al-Hatmi to Referee Yemen-UAE Match in Gulf Cup 27 Opener Tomorrow
Omani referee Qasim Al-Hatmi will officiate the match between the Yemeni and Emirati national teams tomorrow, Thursday, in the opening of the Group B competitions of the "Gulf Cup 27" tournament in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The Referees Committee of the Gulf Football Federation has assigned Al-Hatmi the task of officiating the match scheduled at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium.
The match marks the beginning of our national team's journey in the tournament, within Group B, which also includes the teams of the UAE, Qatar, and Bahrain.
The technical director of our national team, Algerian Noureddine Ould Ali, confirmed his team's readiness for the tournament, stating that the technical staff and players will do their utmost to perform at a level befitting Yemeni football and to please the fans.
During a press conference held today, Wednesday, in Jeddah, Ould Ali said that the team's preparations went through several stages, starting with a domestic camp in Aden, before moving to Jeddah for the final phase of preparation and acclimatization to the tournament's atmosphere.
The Yemen vs. UAE match will kick off tomorrow evening, Thursday, marking our national team's first match in "Gulf Cup 27".
