Marib: Industry Office Directs Merchants to Sell in Yemeni Rial, Warns Violators

The Ministry of Industry and Commerce in Marib governorate has directed all merchants to sell exclusively in Yemeni rials, warning violators of facility closures and legal action against them.
In a circular issued today, Thursday, the office clarified that sales must be in Yemeni rials, at the equivalent exchange rate issued by the Central Bank of Yemen.
It stressed that any violation will subject the establishment to closure, suspension of activity, and necessary legal measures.
