Marib Celebrates Glorious Yemeni Revolution Festivities
The streets of Marib city turned into a national tableau on Wednesday, embodying the Yemeni Revolution's presence in the hearts of generations. Youth and student scout movements, accompanied by a military band, joined the Yemeni people in celebrating the 64th National Day of the glorious September 26th Revolution and the 63rd anniversary of the immortal October 14th Revolution, through a celebratory march that paraded through the streets of the provincial capital.
Since the early morning hours, the student scout march, with hundreds of members from scout movements, youth, and students of various ages from the province's schools, roamed the city streets. They carried the Republic's flags and chanted national anthems and celebratory songs to the tunes of the accompanying military band, which stirred the citizens' emotions and reinforced the spirit and greatness of the revolution in their souls.
During the march, participants presented scout displays and patriotic segments in the streets amidst widespread public celebration, reflecting the national spirit and the values of the September and October revolutions. They expressed the youth's commitment to follow the path of the first revolutionaries until state institutions are restored, its authority is extended over all national territory, and a federal Yemen based on justice and equal citizenship is built.
Marib's Deputy Governor, Abdrabbuh Miftah, praised the artistic creativity presented by the youth and scouts, which reflected a spirit of national participation. He noted that the artistic display embodied the presence of the Republic's people from all groups and regions in a unified expression of their connection to their nation's history and causes.
He emphasized that this occasion recalls a history remembered by the people of the Republic for its significance, especially as it comes under exceptional circumstances that require drawing on the lessons of the past to face current challenges.
