Ministry of Defense Warns Army and Security Personnel in Taiz's Houthi-controlled Areas Against Recruitment Lures
On Saturday, the Ministry of Defense of the Yemeni government warned army and security personnel in areas under the control of the Houthi group in Taiz governorate against responding to the group's calls for registration and summons, warning of attempts to lure them into recruitment and mobilization.
In an announcement published by the Armed Forces Media Center, the Armed Forces and Security urged officers and personnel not to respond to these calls, which the statement said aim to lure them into recruitment and mobilization to fight and besiege their fellow citizens.
It also called on all officers and personnel to contact their leadership to learn about the procedures and designated centers for settling their status and receiving their full salaries and dues, in accordance with approved regulations.
