Minister of Civil Service Announces Start of Pay Increase and Allowances Disbursement from October
The Minister of Civil Service and Insurance, Salem Al-Awlaqi, stated that the ministry has completed a significant portion of the work and procedures related to disbursing the salary increase and allowances due to employees.
Al-Awlaqi noted that the legal opinions and eligibility statements have been referred to the Ministry of Finance to complete the review, auditing, and matching processes, in preparation for completing financial enhancement procedures, transferring the dues to the Central Bank, and starting their disbursement to the beneficiaries according to approved procedures.
The Minister of Civil Service expects the disbursement to begin with the October salary for entities for which eligibility opinions have been issued by the Ministry of Civil Service and Insurance, and whose statements have been reviewed and matched by the Ministry of Finance. The disbursement for the remaining entities will follow successively, according to the completion of review requirements and necessary technical and financial readiness.
He urged public service units in both central and local authorities that have not completed their procedures to quickly finalize the necessary technical and administrative requirements and submit the approved statements to the Ministry of Civil Service and Insurance and its offices in the governorates, each according to its jurisdiction, in line with the approved controls and procedures, to help expedite the disbursement process and ensure beneficiaries receive their dues.
The Minister of Civil Service affirmed the readiness of the ministry and its offices in the governorates to provide the necessary technical support to these units and to work on overcoming any difficulties they may face in completing the required procedures, ensuring the acceleration of transactions and fulfillment of disbursement requirements.
He indicated that after completing the disbursement procedures for the increase and allowances, the ministry is preparing to open the door for receiving job settlement transactions and will follow up on completing the related procedures according to approved controls and data, ensuring that job-related entitlements are processed in an organized and accurate manner.
Al-Awlaqi stressed the government's commitment to continuing its duties and fulfilling its obligations to employees, and to working on completing the procedures for processing and disbursing their entitlements according to approved controls and available resources.
