Macron: We will send forces to protect Saudi Arabia for oil transport in the Red Sea

French President Emmanuel Macron said on Thursday that Paris will send forces and defense systems to Saudi Arabia to help protect the Red Sea city of Yanbu, a vital site for energy transport.
He added in an interview with channels (TF1) and (France 2), "This is the agreement we have made with the Saudis: we will send military resources - that is, soldiers, radar systems, and defense systems - to protect this site; not to engage in any conflicts, but to protect this site."
