Government Forces Announce Capture of Houthi Drone Team in Rural Taiz
Yemeni government forces announced on Friday the capture of a Houthi group team responsible for operating drones on the Al-Aqroudh front in rural Taiz, southwestern Yemen.
The 35th Armored Brigade stated in a release that one of its units captured the team in the Kahlan area on the Al-Aqroudh front, southeast of Taiz, noting that the operation is part of ongoing field efforts to counter the group's activities and enhance combat readiness.
In a related context, military sources reported that government forces and the Popular Resistance, with the participation of other military units in the Taiz axis, thwarted an attack launched by the Houthi group on their positions on Jabal Dahih on the Al-Aqroudh front.
The sources added that the attack, the second of its kind on the mountain since Friday morning, was carried out in multiple waves in an attempt to advance toward the positions of the stationed forces, confirming it was repelled while battles are still ongoing.
