Military Sources Reveal Gaps in Tariq Saleh's Forces and Suspicions of Major Financial Corruption
Military sources revealed to "Al-Mahriah Net" on Saturday inconsistencies in the structure of Tariq Saleh's forces deployed on the Tihamah coast front and major financial corruption.
The sources confirmed that what is known as "force loss" is estimated at about six thousand individuals over the past six years, due to dismissal or desertion, without them being replaced with new elements.
The sources mentioned that the allocations for these individuals are still listed on the central payrolls, raising questions about the mechanism for disbursing their salaries and financial allowances, estimated at millions of Saudi riyals monthly.
The sources added that there is a disparity in the disbursement of daily allowances and food provisions for elements in the field compared to the officially approved amounts, indicating a potential administrative or financial malfunction.
In the same context, the sources pointed out that visits by governmental and specialized Saudi committees to assess the force were accompanied by measures to address the shortfall, including recalling former members and adding new elements. However, these steps have not fully closed the gap.
