Army Announces 1,292 Targeting Operations in 24 Hours, Advances in Marib

The Armed Forces announced the execution of 1,292 targeting operations that it said affected military sites belonging to the Houthi group during the past 24 hours, as part of Operation «Fajr al-Yemen», noting new field progress on the eastern front in Marib Governorate.
The official spokesperson for the Armed Forces, Colonel Majid Abdullah Al-Nuzaili, said that the operations targeted defensive positions, fortifications, trenches, and sources of fire, in addition to reserve gatherings, transportation, and supply means belonging to the Houthis.
Al-Nuzaili added that the targeting and fire support operations contributed, according to him, to creating the conditions for the forces' advance, pointing to the neutralization of more than 430 members of the group, and the destruction or disabling of more than 100 military vehicles, carts, and equipment.
On the eastern front of Marib, the military spokesman said that government forces expanded their advance and took control of a number of important sites and heights, benefiting from the results of the airstrikes. He added that military operations continue on the southern and western fronts with the aim of pressuring the Houthis and depleting their capabilities.
He noted the continued work of military engineering units in removing mines and improvised explosive devices from sites and corridors on various fronts, clearing paths for advancement, and securing the areas recaptured by the forces.
In Taiz Governorate, Al-Nuzaili reported that warplanes carried out strikes targeting Houthi reinforcements and combat positions, while government forces and the popular resistance continue their operations against the group. He also announced the detention of a number of Houthi field commanders, explaining that they are being handled according to established military and legal procedures.
The military spokesman called on residents of Houthi-controlled areas to protect their children from recruitment campaigns, warning against them being thrown into battles.
