Al-Arada and Bin Aziz Light Main Torch for 64th Anniversary of Sept. 26 Revolution in Marib

Member of the Presidential Leadership Council and Marib Governor, General Sultan Al-Arada, along with Chief of the General Staff and Commander of Joint Operations, Lieutenant General Saghir bin Aziz, and Director of the Youth and Sports Office, Ali Hashwan, lit the main torch for the 64th anniversary of the glorious September 26 Revolution in Marib city this Friday evening, signaling the start of official and popular celebrations for the occasion.

Scout troops performed a carnival-like display, during which they raised the republican flag, formed a youth tableau with the flag's colors, and displayed a picture of the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, while scout regiments embodied the six goals of the September 26 Revolution. 

Additionally, 64 young men carried the revolution's torches in a symbolic scene that expressed the continuation of its goals and principles in the consciousness of generations.

The young scouts and guides also delivered a "Pledge and Loyalty" document, written in the color of blood and addressed to the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, and its members. In it, they renewed the commitment of the youth and scout movement to remain loyal to the glorious September 26 and immortal October 14 revolutions, to defend their gains and goals, and to continue carrying their national message.

After lighting the torch, Member of the Presidential Leadership Council and Marib Governor, General Sultan Al-Arada, stated that the glorious September 26 Revolution came at a pivotal moment in Yemen's history. He said it freed the Yemeni people from the clerical Imamate rule and opened great horizons for them, noting that the sacrifices of Yemenis and the blood of martyrs throughout various stages helped solidify the revolution and preserve its principles and gains.

Al-Arada affirmed that the revolution's principles and gains will remain steadfast, and, God willing, no one will undermine them as long as the will and awareness of the Yemeni people remain strong. He pointed out that the Yemeni people's will is irrevocably determined to restore the state and its institutions and to save the country from the "nightmare" it is experiencing.

Member of the Presidential Leadership Council, General Sultan Al-Arada, saluted the members of the armed forces, security services, and popular resistance from Yemen's tribes across various governorates, who are making sacrifices on all fronts, continue to uphold the principles of the September 26 Revolution, preserve the national identity, and fight valiantly for it.

He expressed his confidence that the Yemeni people, with their strong will, will soon see the light and overcome the effects of the militia coup and its repercussions on the nation.
