Taiz Governorate Media Office Denies Suspension of Studies and Exams, Warns of Forged Publications

The Media Office in Taiz Governorate has categorically denied the validity of publications circulating on social media, which claim an urgent administrative circular was issued by the local authority leadership regarding the suspension of educational and academic processes, student activities, and the postponement of exams in the governorate's schools, universities, and institutes.
The office clarified that the circulating publications, dated October 3, 2026, are forged and baseless, stressing that neither the Governor's office nor any official entity in the governorate has issued a decision or circular in this regard.
The Media Office urged activists, journalists, citizens, students, and educational and academic staff not to engage with these publications or circulate what it described as rumors and misleading news aimed at causing confusion and unsettling citizens.
It emphasized the importance of relying exclusively on news and decisions issued through the official channels and pages of the local authority in the districts and the Media Office of Taiz Governorate.
