Yemeni Army Announces Destruction and Disabling of 96 Houthi Military Vehicles
The Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Friday that they carried out 1,211 targeting operations against sites, gatherings, reinforcements, and vehicles of the armed Houthi group on several battlefronts as part of 'Operation Yemen Dawn'.
The official spokesman for the Armed Forces, Majed Al-Nuzaili, said that the operations were carried out in recent hours using warplanes, drones, artillery, and rocket launchers, targeting the group's positions, movements, and sources of fire.
Al-Nuzaili explained that the battles continued on the Al-Shaqab and Al-Aqroudh fronts in Taiz governorate, particularly in the Sanamat and Al-Sarari areas, where the armed forces, supported by the popular resistance, targeted Houthi positions and movements, forcing groups of them to retreat with air support from warplanes and drones.
He added that the Nation Shield Forces and the Giants Brigades on the Tur Al-Bahah front managed to take control of several positions and repel Houthi attacks and infiltration attempts.
He noted that armed forces units carried out offensive operations on the Marib fronts, targeting the group's positions in the Raghwan and Mahzam Mas sectors, in addition to continuing to strike their reinforcements and fortifications.
According to the military spokesman, the targeting operations resulted in neutralizing about 387 Houthi leaders and elements, destroying and disabling 96 military means, mechanisms, and vehicles, in addition to a missile launch platform.
Al-Nuzaili affirmed the armed forces' continued performance of their combat duties while taking the necessary precautions to protect civilians and civilian objects.
