Motorcycle Rally in Sayhut and Al-Masila, Al-Mahra, Commemorates 14th of October Revolution
On Friday afternoon, the districts of Sayhut and Al-Masila in Al-Mahra governorate witnessed a massive motorcycle rally commemorating the 63rd anniversary of the 14th of October Revolution, with participants from both districts parading through the area under the slogan "October of Glory... Revolution of the Free and Symbol of Freedom and Independence".
The participants raised banners affirming their commitment to the principles of the 14th of October Revolution and its associated struggle for freedom and independence, recalling the sacrifices of Yemenis in confronting British colonialism.
In a statement on the occasion, the people of Sayhut and Al-Masila called on the international community and the United Nations to intervene to end the war in Yemen in a way that preserves the country's unity and stability, lifts the siege, ends civilian suffering, and guarantees Yemenis' right to live in security, peace, and dignity.
The participants affirmed that commemorating the revolution is an occasion to evoke the values of freedom, dignity, and sacrifice, and to renew adherence to the principles upon which the 14th of October Revolution was founded, considering it a prominent milestone in the history of the Yemeni national struggle.
