Government Forces Announce Targeting Houthi Sites, Killing Nearly 200 in One Day
On Tuesday, the Armed Forces announced the execution of 744 targeting operations within the past 24 hours as part of the 'Dawn of Yemen' operation. They stated that these resulted in the neutralization of about 200 members of the Houthi group and the destruction or disabling of 90 military vehicles and equipment.
The official spokesman for the Armed Forces, Colonel Majid Abdullah Al-Nazili, said that the operations were carried out using warplanes, drones, field artillery, rocket launchers, and sniper units. They targeted field command and control centers, firebases, fortified positions, reserve assembly areas, and Houthi reinforcements and their supply lines.
Al-Nazili added that government forces are continuing their operations on the eastern, southern, and western fronts of Taiz, noting that military units are working to increase combat pressure and force the Houthis to retreat, in conjunction with the continuation of operations on various fronts.
He confirmed that the Armed Forces continue to carry out their tasks according to the operational plan, limiting targeting to legitimate military objectives and taking necessary precautions to protect civilians and civilian property.
