The purchase price for an 8-gram, 21-karat gold sovereign reached 1,459,325 Yemeni rials, while the purchase price for a kilogram of silver was approximately 2,959,537 Yemeni rials.
In Sana'a, the purchase price for a gram of 21-karat gold was recorded at about 62,094 Yemeni rials, while a gram of 24-karat gold was about 72,113 Yemeni rials. The purchase price for an 8-gram, 21-karat gold sovereign was approximately 500,299 Yemeni rials.
