Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo said, before the UEFA Nations League match against Wales this Thursday, that he still has a lot to offer his country as Jorge Jesus prepares for his first match as the national team's coach.
The veteran star confirmed on the main stage of the Portuguese Football Summit on Wednesday that his focus is on the present moment, refusing to set a date for his international retirement.
The player told reporters who pressed him to reveal his intentions after announcing this summer that this season would "probably" be the last of his career, "I am too old to think about the future. For me, the present is what's most important."
