Army Spokesman Announces 468 Operations Against Houthis on Three Fronts
The official spokesman for the Armed Forces, Colonel Majid Abdullah Al-Nuzaili, announced the execution of 468 targeting operations against Houthi elements and equipment on the eastern, Al-Bayda, and Al-Mansoura fronts in the Al-Wazi'iyah district, west of Taiz.
Al-Nuzaili said in a statement that the operations resulted in the death and injury of hundreds of Houthi elements, in addition to the destruction of military equipment and vehicles belonging to the group.
He added that the Houthis continue to target civilians and civilian objects, including educational facilities, considering these attacks aim to influence the population's stance on the war and efforts to restore state institutions.
The military spokesman pointed out that targeting civilians and civilian facilities constitutes, as he described it, a violation of international humanitarian law and the rules for the protection of civilians.
