Al-Alimi Appoints Amer bin Hutyan as Commander of the Second Military Region

Today, a decree was issued by the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, No. (236) of 2026, appointing Brigadier General Amer Abdullah Mohammed bin Hutyan as commander of the Second Military Region, and promoting him to the rank of Major General.
The second article of the decree stipulated that it shall be effective from the date of its issuance and published in the Official Gazette and military bulletins.
