Foreign currency exchange rates against the Yemeni Rial today, October 29, 2026

Foreign currency exchange rates against the Yemeni Rial remained stable today, Thursday, with no significant changes compared to previous days, despite a shortage in the availability of the US dollar and Saudi riyal.
Banking sources told Al-Mahriah Net that the exchange rate for the Saudi riyal in exchange shops and companies in government-controlled areas reached 410 rials.
The sources added that the US dollar is priced at around 1560 Yemeni rials.
In the same context, the Yemeni Rial has maintained its stability in Houthi-controlled areas for years, where the Saudi riyal is exchanged for about 140 rials, and the US dollar for between 535 and 540 rials, amidst complaints of rising prices despite the currency's stability.
This comes amidst ongoing financial challenges throughout Yemen, which is facing one of the world's worst humanitarian and economic crises.
