US Central Command: Iran Blockade Prevented Over $25 Billion in Oil Exports

The US Central Command said the naval blockade has contributed, since its resumption, to preventing Iran from exporting more than $25 billion in oil.
The US Central Command indicated that Iran has not exported or imported by sea for 100 days, except for humanitarian aid permitted by US forces.
CENTCOM announced last week that the US destroyer Rafael Peralta (DDG 115) transited the territorial waters as part of its support for the naval blockade imposed on Iranian ports.
It said that it had rerouted 138 commercial ships to ensure strict compliance with the blockade.
