Gold prices stable in Sana'a and Aden today, Sunday, November 1, 2026
Gold prices saw stability on Sunday in Sana'a and Aden, despite a slight variation from one shop to another.
The price of a 21-karat gold gram in Aden reached about 169,000 Yemeni rials of the new currency, while in Sana'a it reached about 58 rials of the old currency.
As for the gold pound (8 grams, 21-karat), it exceeded 1,374,000 rials in Aden, while in Sana'a it surpassed 471,000 rials.
These prices are set for buying from citizens, while they increase slightly when sold to customers, as a profit margin is calculated for each gram of the yellow metal.
The exchange rate of the local currency differs between Houthi-controlled areas and areas under the government's influence; the dollar exchange rate in Sana'a is about 535 rials, compared to 1,560 rials in the areas under the influence of the internationally recognized government.
It is worth noting that gold prices change from time to time and vary relatively from one shop to another in Yemen's markets, depending on global and local market movement, and supply and demand.
